Mesa del Paro analyzed Buenaventura characterization survey
This process is part of the commitments of the National Government with the Bureau of Access to Justice, Victims, Protection and Memory of Buenaventura.
Representatives of the Bureau for Access to Justice, Victims, Protection and Memory of Buenaventura, also called Mesa del Paro, analyzed this Tuesday in Cali the survey designed to advance in the characterization of the victim population of this port district and which is projected apply in the first semester of 2021.
Luz Adriana Toro Vélez, territorial director of the Unit for Victims in Valle del Cauca, indicated that "this instrument was reviewed with spokespersons from the table, concerns were resolved and some points of ethnic focus proposed by them were agreed upon." Advancing in the characterization of the victim population of Buenaventura is one of the commitments of the national government with the Mesa del Unemployment.
Within the framework of this meeting, the Victims Unit expressed its condolences for the death of Anyela García, coordinator of the Bureau for the Effective Participation of Victims of Buenaventura.
“I extend my embrace of solidarity to their loved ones and to the District community, which had in it an outstanding leader, who stood out for the work in favor of the vulnerable population, especially in relation to the victims of the armed conflict in her municipality”, Said Toro Velez.
