The new point of care for victims of Tuluá will be inaugurated, this Tuesday
It will be located in the Bicentenario Plaza Shopping Center, in Villa de Céspedes. The Unit also reported the reopening, from this Monday, of the Palmira service point.
The Victims Unit announced that this Tuesday, October 20, it will inaugurate the new point of attention for victims of Tuluá, which will operate on Calle 28 # 19 -38, in the Bicentenario Plaza Shopping Center.
This venue will be attended from Monday to Friday from 7:30 a.m. m. at 12 m. and from 1:00 p.m. at 4:00 p.m. m.
The Unit will have the following personnel and attention capacity, applying all the disinfection and social distancing biosecurity measures, avoiding congestion:
Two counselors: each one can serve up to 35 people per day.
A notifier: it will attend 48 users each day, after an appointment made from Bogotá.
A documentary filmmaker: will receive from eight to 10 people per day, according to the schedule programmed from the national level.
In this new headquarters the community will also find services from the Mayor´s Office such as Sisbén, SENA and the local Planning Office. Previously, the Tuluá victim care point operated at the Rubén Cruz Vélez hospital.
In Tuluá it is estimated that there are 27.316 victims of armed conflict, which means 12.5% of the population.
The inauguration of the new headquarters will be at 10:00 a.m., with the presence of the territorial director of the Unit in the Valley, Luz Adriana Toro.
Reopening of the Palmira point
Starting this Monday, the entity's service point in Palmira also opens its doors, which is based on Carrera 24 # 21 - 20, adjacent to the Ombudsman Office and the Southern Police Command.
The Victims Unit recalls that at this point it is attended from Monday to Friday 7 a.m. m. to 12 p.m. and from 1:00 p. m. - 4 p. m., with a counselor, who can receive up to 35 people per day, applying biosafety protocols. In this way, all the service points in Valle will be at service, since Cartago and Buga have been operating since last October 1.
