In search of mitigating the economic effects of the health emergency, the Sucre Territorial Victims Unit this week completed the delivery of 1.983 food kits to the Subjects of Collective Reparation, relocated and returned communities and to the members of the municipal participation tables.

The kits that include non-perishable food were delivered to members of the participation tables and to the mayors, who appointed their municipal victims liaisons to formally receive the aid.

The deliveries were made in compliance with all biosafety protocols to avoid the spread of COVID-19 and the beneficiaries are people who are included in the Single Registry of Victims and who had not received humanitarian attention or had not benefited from the different programs of the State. The benefited families correspond to the municipalities of Betulia, Caimito, Colosó, Ovejas, El Roble, Galeras, La Unión, San Antonio de los Palmitos, Majagual, Morroa, San Benito, San Onofre, Sincé, Toluviejo and Sincelejo.

In this regard, Isaac Hernández, territorial director of the Unit pointed out that "with this support we reach vulnerable families and our population victims of the conflict, knowing that these times of pandemic are especially difficult".

He also indicated that with these deliveries, the victims of this region of the country are still being met, "to solve the effects of the pandemic".
