The Victims Unit review progress in care at the Regional Center for Victims, in Villavicencio
During a follow-up table to this space, issues focused on the route of care that has been provided in times of COVID-19 to the victims of armed conflict in the department of Meta were addressed.
Through a virtual meeting, the technical follow-up table was developed for the Regional Center for Attention to Victims in the department of Meta, together with the Government of Meta and the Mayor's Office of Villavicencio, in which the progress and compliance with regard to assistance were socialized. that is given to the 204.490 victims subject to care.
The topics addressed in this space were focused on the route of attention that has been provided in times of COVID-19, progress in construction and possible delivery, which is expected to be completed by the month of October 2020, taking into account the delays presented by the contingency that the country is experiencing and the definition of roles of each of the entities that are present on this site and thus, put it into operation properly.
In addition, the situation of reopening of this Regional Center was analyzed if the conditions were given at some point so that the victims of Meta could return to carry out their requests and procedures in person.
In this way, the meeting concluded that the Regional Center has restarted the construction works and that the attention to the victims will continue to be provided virtually through the different alternative communication channels that the Victims Unit has jointly established with the Mayor's Office of Villavicencio and the Government of Meta.
