
The Unit delivered food packages to victims in 27 Santander municipalities
The entity continues with its care plan in times of social isolation, for the benefit of the population affected by the conflict.


The Santander Territorial Directorate of the Victims Unit delivered food kits in 27 municipalities of the department that will positively impact 1.503 households affected by the conflict, and in a vulnerable condition in the framework of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Floridablanca, Guaca, Málaga, Onzaga, Piedecuesta, Pinchote, San Andrés, San José de Miranda, Villanueva, Barbosa, Bucaramanga, Carmen de Chucurí, Girón, San Gil, San Vicente de Chucurí, Velez, Betulia, Bolívar, Coromoro, Hato, La Paz, Los Santos, Oiba, San Miguel, Sucre, Tona and Zapatoca were part of the prioritized localities, and the territorial entities were in charge of receiving the aid, along with delegates from the tables for effective participation of victims.
"We have received help from the Victims Unit, thank you very much for taking us into account and helping us in this need that we are going through in the emergency due to COVID-19, we feel that they are people who have been supporting us", said Ana Libia Torres, coordinator of the municipal table of victims of Barbosa.
The Unit will continue to coordinate with local administrations, so that the actions reflected in the development plans contribute to the improvement of their quality of life and the implementation of the Public Policy for Victims, as a guarantee of their rights.
