The Victims Unit delivered humanitarian aid in kind, in Barrancabermeja
In the next few days the members of the participatory tables will benefit from these aids of victims of the 21 municipalities that make up the territorial Magdalena Medio.
At the facilities of the Regional Center for the Attention of Victims of Barrancabermeja, the Victims Unit, Territorial Magdalena Medio, delivered 280 kits of humanitarian aid in kind, aimed at victims in situations of vulnerability in that region of the country.
According to Amparo Chicué Cristancho, the entity's territorial director, a total of 280 markets were delivered to the Municipal Table of Victims of Barrancabermeja, the Association of Relatives of Disappeared Detainees (Asfaddes), the LGBTI community, the Subject of Collective Reparation from Ciénaga del Opón, to the Zenú indigenous settlement and to a parish located in commune seven of the oil port.
The official added that "we will continue with the second stage of deliveries, which will take place in the middle of this month, in which case it will be in the south of Bolívar, as well as to the 21 municipal tables that make up the Magdalena Medio territory".
Likewise, Amparo Chicué added that he will soon agree with the Barrancabermeja Participation Table and other organizations different from those benefited with the first delivery, in order to send new lists to the national level of the Unit to be verified, and in this way make a third, much more robust delivery to the victims of that city.
Finally, the territorial director of the Unit assured that with these deliveries, plus the compensation and humanitarian money, "we continue to meet the victims of Magdalena Medio."
