The Victims Unit in that department explained that the entity is only complying with the payment of humanitarian aid that had already been programmed for people registered in the RUV (Single Registry of Victims).

The Victims Unit Nariño territorial clarified that the regional is not delivering, nor is it going to deliver grocery baskets to victims or leaders throughout the department.

The entity specified that it will not make any kind of delivery in kind to leaders or victims in general and that, given the health emergency in the country, it was only established to deliver humanitarian aid to people who already had it scheduled.

The Unit in Nariño explained that the victims are only accompanied by subsidiarity with food kits, when a humanitarian emergency arises as a consequence of armed conflict.

Additionally, it stressed that the telephone lines set up for the current emergency by COVID-19, are not for the request for food or groceries, but to advance the general procedures and services that victims require before the Unit.
