More than 400 victims received attention at a service fair in Istmina
Attendees also obtained information on the institutional offer of the Victims Unit, during the National Citizen Service Fair in this municipality and other towns in Chocó.
Istmina, August 2. The survivors of conflict in the San Juan subregion had the opportunity to learn about the institutional offer of the Victims Unit in terms of comprehensive guidance, update of news, update in the single registry of victims, RUV, and also provided information to young people who need to define their military situation and find the RUV.
“It was a satisfactory day, because we were able to attend a victim population from distant communities, who otherwise would not have been able to access the services of the Unit”, said Yianny Vanessa Palacios Moreno, territorial director of Unit in Chocó.
With a team of 15 counselors, more than 400 people were served. Citizens were also able to know the services of the telephone channel and the anti-fraud campaign.
"We managed to make the citizens satisfied with the attention given, because their concerns were clarified and they were able to know the status of their processes", said Palacios Moreno.
The National Citizen Service Fair, which was organized by the National Planning Department DNP, was attended by 80 State entities, which presented their institutional offers to more than 800 people.
