292 free books for military victims of the conflict delivered in La Guajira
The delivery was carried out as part of the comprehensive reparation process of young people affected by violence in different municipalities of the department.
In the municipality of Uribia, military cards were delivered last Friday to 292 young victims from Riohacha, Dibulla and other municipalities in the south of La Guajira, who were invited to this event by the Military District No. 45 and territorial direction Cesar Guajira of the Unit for Attention and Reparation for Victims.
The event was organized by entities such as Social Prosperity, the Army, the mayor of Uribía and the Victims Unit.
Fred Fuentes Mindiola, from the Victims Unit in Cesar and Guajira, said that "the ceremony of military books is done in a special moment for the country." This measure of satisfaction, part of the comprehensive reparation process, shows the effort to advance reconciliation and peace building in the department.
John Jairo Acosta, representing the beneficiary victims of military books, highlighted the importance of the agreement for its impact on the non-repetition of the violence and obtaining the military card as a specific action for reparation to victims.
Representing the mayor of Uribía, the Secretary of Government, Yair Gonzalez, reiterated their commitment to take care of victims and their willingness to continue to support these initiatives, which are included in its development plan.
