The Unit for Attention and Reparation of Victims acknowledges the damages caused by racism and discrimination against ethnic communities in Colombia.

The Unit for Attention and Reparation of Victims acknowledges the damages caused by racism and discrimination against ethnic communities in Colombia. For that reason, the Victims Unit elaborated guidelines in order to create a specific route for the attention and reparation of this communities, taking into account both individual and collective victims.
By the 1st of February 2015, a total of 155,955 individual indigenous victims, and 692,372 individual victims belonging to Afro-Colombian communities are included in the Single Registry of Victims. As coordinator of a whole system to take care of victims, the Victims Unit invites all entities to implement actions to fight against racism and discrimination.
