For three days, the Victims Unit delivered the reparatory measure to victims of armed conflict in this department.

Complying with the biosecurity protocols, the Victims Unit developed in the district of Santa Marta a new day of delivery of letters of compensation to those affected by the armed conflict who reside in the department of Magdalena.

On this occasion, 309 letters of compensation were delivered with an investment that exceeded $ 1.018 million pesos, to victims who are on the route prioritized by age (over 74 years), disability or who suffer an orphan or catastrophic disease, and also applied the criterion by general route.

Similarly, during the day the victims of armed conflict were given a talk about the anti-fraud campaign "Don't believe everything you hear", to prevent them from suffering deception and fraud from people who want to take advantage of the resources they receive as part of their individual repair.

"Today I am receiving my compensation letter from the Victims Unit, I feel very grateful for this money that I am receiving since with that talk I am thinking of fixing my house that is quite deteriorated", said Evangelina Anaya Acosta, victim beneficiary of the day.

For his part, the territorial director of the Victims Unit in Magdalena, Jair Diazgranados, indicated that "we continue to provide the victims with financial reparation and thus be able to improve the quality of life of these people".
