Virtual days to attend and guide victims in Atlántico

Within the measures contemplated by the Victims Unit, due to the health emergency caused by COVID-19, this October 22 and 23 the entity develops a second virtual day of care for victims of the conflict in the department.

The Victims Unit, in support of the municipal mayors, is carrying out, between today and tomorrow in the department of Atlántico, a second virtual day of attention to targeted victims through counselors who will provide comprehensive guidance and assistance by telephone. in its assistance and repair processes, including information on the State's offer.

With the second virtual departmental session that covers the municipalities of La Cordialidad highway in Atlántico, such as Galapa, Baranoa, Sabanalarga, Luruaco, Polonuevo, Candelaria, Manatí and Repelón, the Unit estimates to serve 640 targeted victims of the bases sent by the links municipalities for the care of victims within the contingency plan of the citizen service process in which 1.280 requests are registered.

With this strategy of the Atlantic Territorial Directorate, the Unit seeks to respond to the requests of victims in the municipalities who state that they have not been able to communicate with the telephone channel of the entity's national line or do not have the tools to access care through the web portal.

During the two days of the day, the victims will be contacted by the counselors to provide care and guidance from 7:00 a.m. m. until 6:00 p.m. m.

Victims who are not focused on the base for the virtual day can access care through the regional hotline 3860119 and the national line 01800911119 and / or virtual channels available on the website www.unidadvictimas.gov.co.

Some of the requests that the Victims Unit is responding to through this contingency plan are: updating of data, updating of the victimizing event, individual and family assessment status, request for humanitarian aid, information on humanitarian aid transfers, information the status of the request for compensation and the status of request for return and relocation, among others.
